Here are some common Club volleyball questions that you may be asking
yourself. Please choose a category that fits your question.
Sask Volleyball offers programming in 13U – 18U age groups. Club Volleyball is an opportunity for youth athletes throughout the province to participate in volleyball from November – April. Club teams are ran by individual club throughout the province. A list of clubs can be found on the Sask Volleyball website.
The tryout process starts in October and is ran by individual clubs throughout the province. Athletes can reach out to the clubs they are interested in trying out for by using the Sanctioned Tryout Section on the Sask Volleyball website.
To start a club fill out the online Club Approval Form. Once this is done you will be contacted about getting a club portal set up to get your club and teams registered and setup online.

There are, of course, special circumstances that require deviation from this structure. Final decisions are left to the discretion of the tournament organizer. Please refer to the current season’s club guide for additional information.

New coaches who are interested in coaching club can reach out to a club contact on our list of Accredited Clubs.
New coaches should go to The Locker to get an NCCP number, The Locker is your transcript for all completed training from all sports. Once you have an NCCP number, you can register on The Coaching Center. The Coaching Center allows you to register for the training needed to meet requirements. Volleyball Canada’s Coaching Requirements outlines the requirements that are needed for Head and Assistant coaches at Provincials and Nationals for each age group. Please note that Respect in Sport (RIS) training is needed in Saskatchewan (Safe Sport not sufficient) and Criminal Record Check (CRC) that must be within last three years. RIS and CRC for ALL coaches (Head and Assistant) must be submitted on SportLomo and verified by Sask Volleyball before your Club team is approved.
