Team Sask Identification

Sask Volleyball is committed to offering high-performance opportunities for club athletes ages 14–17 who want to develop their skills and continue competing at a high level. These identification (ID) initiatives help us recognize athletes with strong volleyball attributes, passion, commitment, and long-term potential for our Provincial summer programs.

Short-listed athletes will receive an email invite to either our Future Selects development camp (mid-June) or the Team Sask final selection weekend (late May) for our provincial men’s and women’s travel teams. Full program details are available on our annual Team Sask page.

Please find below our identification events for this upcoming season.

IDENTIFICATION PROCESS

The week following their Provincial Championship, the top-ranked athletes will receive an email invitation to our Future Selects camp in mid-June or our Team Sask final selections camp at the end of May. Please note that returning provincial team athletes (Does not include Future Selects) this past summer, will automatically receive an invitation to our May final selection camp, and DO NOT need to attend an ID event prior to tryouts. Team Saskatchewan high-performance programs are intended for athletes with the potential to compete at the post-secondary and national levels.
