Team Sask Identification
Sask Volleyball is committed to offering high-performance opportunities for club athletes ages 14–17 who want to develop their skills and continue competing at a high level. These identification (ID) initiatives help us recognize athletes with strong volleyball attributes, passion, commitment, and long-term potential for our Provincial summer programs.
Short-listed athletes will receive an email invite to either our Future Selects development camp (mid-June) or the Team Sask final selection weekend (late May) for our provincial men’s and women’s travel teams. Full program details are available on our annual Team Sask page.
Please find below our identification events for this upcoming season.
2026 Jump Reach ID
Athletes will complete three spike approaches, touching as high as possible on our Vertec to measure their vertical jump. A staff member will be on site to record all results. There is no set testing schedule; registered athletes may visit the testing station between matches. The top ten recorded jumps will receive a free used ball and may also be considered for an ID Session or our Future Selects camp.

Sask Volleyball high-performance staff will continue to track athlete progress at Sask Cups and Provincials. Head coach recommendations must include: team name, grade, DOB, position, jersey number, key physical measurements (height, reach, and jump reach), and leadership attributes. Please review the identification and selection process below.
