SVA SASK Cups - 16U Womens Division
16U Women
Guidelines
a) Registered teams must play in a minimum of 2 tournaments to a maximum of 6 competitions with a minimum of one being an out of town tournament. Each tournament entered in over the maximum will be fined equivalent to an SASK Cup entry fee
b) The Mikasa MVA200 will be the official competition ball for this age category.
c) 16U will utilize the 6 limited substitution rule with libero.
d) Head Coaches must be certified Level 1 in Volleyball at the time of registration. First time coaches will be given one year grace period to complete their Level 1.

Tournament Structure
a) SASK Cup #1 will use the previous seasons 15U Provincial Championshiop results to place teams into pools.
b) Seeding for SASK Cup #2 will use the two highest point accumulations to date that SVA has received.
c) Saskatchewan Volleyball reserves the right to adjust the seeding in order to avoid teams from the same club playing in the same pool in the preliminary draw.
d) Playoff draws will be arranged to best reflect the number of entries in each tournament.
e) Provincials will be a power pool structure - exact format TBD based on number of teams.
Seeding
a) SASK Cup #1 will use the previous seasons 15U Provincial Championship results to place teams into pools.
b) Seeding for SASK Cup #2 will use the two highest point accumulations to date taht the SVA has received
c) Seeding for Provincials will be done by the following:
1.) The Sum of the TWO highest point accumulations (taken from ALL eligible tournaments attended)
2.) That number divided by TWO.
3.) In the case of a Tie, the following procedure will be used to break the tie. The steps will be followed in sequence until the tie is broken.
i. The results of matches played head to head in the most recent tournament
ii. The team with the higher placed finish in the most recent tournament both teams attended.
iii. The team with more higher placed finishes in all tournaments attended.
iv. Coin Flip.
