Saskatchewan Athletes display strong showing at Western Elite Championships 

Team Sask. Green 16U Women finished second at Western Elite Championships held in Kelowna, B.C. July 22-24th. 
Sask. Green defeated Manitoba Gold in the semi-finals 3 – 0. Taylor Ungar from Saskatoon had 10 kills, Samantha Zacharias , Waldheim had 11 kills and Katie Nelson from Regina had 7 kills in the win.  In the final, Sask. Green lost 3 – 1 to Alberta White.  Saskatoon’s Jenelle Sokoloski had 8 kills while Nikki Dixon from Colonsay had 12 digs.  Mackenzie Pek and Jenelle Sokoloski from Saskatoon were named to the All Star Team.  Joe Peters from North Battleford was named to the All Star team with the Sask. Green 17U men team.  Congratulations to all athletes that competed!
