Practical
Level 1 Practical:
The purpose of the Level 1 Practical is to provide coaches with an assessment of their ability to apply coaching knowledge as presented in the Technical course. To receive credit for Level 1 practical, an instructor/coach must acquire 40 hours of coaching experience. The 40 hours can begin to be accumulated following successful completion of the Level 1 Technical component. The practical Observation Form, Level 1 Practical Form, and the Self-Improvement Plan must all be sent into the Saskatoon SVA office, in order to get credit for the practical component.
Level 2 Practical:
Level 2 Practical requires coaches to complete 80 hours of coaching experience, following successful completion of the Level 2 Technical Component. The Level 2 Practical can be applied for online at www.saskvolleball.ca. Level 2 Practical Forms must be completed and returned to the Saskatoon SVA office to receive credit for the course.
Level 3 Practical:
Level 3 Practical requires a coach to mentor under an assigned coach from SVA. Please contact the Saskatoon SVA office for further details.
