Mini Volleyball

What is Mini Volleyball?

Mini-Volley is a CAHPERD endorsed approach developed by Volleyball Canada to initiate youth to the game of volleyball.  It is a modified version of the traditional game of volleyball which aims to introduce the game in a fun and interesting way to players making it an easy game to teach for instructors, teachers, or parents.

The goal of Mini-Volley is enhance opportunities for children to play, have fun and experience success in volleyball at any age.  Mini-Volley maximizes the number of times each student contacts the ball, provides a variety of different ways to contact the ball so that they may better adapt to the game, and promotes success based on varying degrees of ability.
