SVA Elite Prospects Academy

16U Women - Born January 1, 1994 or later.

17U Men - Born January 1, 1993 or later.

Training and Competition Dates: I.D. Camps - end of May 2010; Training in July 2010

The Elite Prospects Academy will expose you to training with Saskatchewan’s high performance coaches alongside fellow elite volleyball athletes. Including one and a half days of advanced training in beach volleyball, the Elite Prospects Academy concludes with a 2-day competitive tournament. Up to 80 young women and men will participate in the Elite Prospects Academy. The 16U Provincial Teams will be selected from the athletes training and competing at the Elite Prospects Academy.

Athlete Selection
 

The Provincial Team athletes, selected from the Elite Prospects Academy, will continue on with training in July in preparation for the Western Elite Championships. Two male and two female teams will be selected and trained to compete at the Western Elite Championships being hosted in Calgary, Alberta, July 23 to 25, 2010.
