Arima MAP Grants

A MAP Grant of up to $125.00 per team is available from Saskatchewan Lotteries through the Saskatchewan Volleyball Association towards the cost of operating your team.

The Spending Plan must be received in the SVA office by December 15, 2009. The Follow up Report and Team Expense Summary are due by February 15, 2010. You will not be eligible for a MAP grant if you have not submitted all the forms by all deadlines.

MAP Grant Policies and Procedures

Applicants must be members in good standing of the Saskatchewan Volleyball Association.

Applicants must submit all required forms to the SVA by the set deadline.

Payment will be sent from the SVA office upon receipt of the properly completed Follow Up Report including receipts and all Team Expense Summary forms and it will be sent to the Club Official.

Athlete Recruitment / Transfer Policy

1.  All players are free agents at the end of the playing season;

2.  Once a player has completed the registration process with a specific team, a player may not transfer without the consent of the SVA;

3.  When transfer consent is given, a transfer date will be stated as to when it shall be effective. However, it is recommended that at no time should a transfer date be effective less than seven (7) days after application;

4.  To transfer, a player must meet the following requirements:

     a)  provide a written request to the SVA stating the reasons for the transfer;

     b)  obtain a written release from the club or team the player wishes to leave. A release may not           be held unreasonably. If a club or team refuses to provide a written release, the SVA will           determine whether the transfer is allowed;

     c)  submit a new registration form

5.  No transfers will be allowed after the registration deadline.
