Age Class MAP Grants

Allocation of MAP funding to the Club Teams is based on a percentage of the total MAP funding received by the Association from Sask. Sport Inc. 

  • All Clubs must submit a spending plan by March 30th to be considered for the Grant
  • All Clubs must submit a follow-up report by June 1st to be eligible for the Grant
  • All teams within a club must submit a Team Expense summary along with receipts for eligible expenses
  • The Provincial Sport Governing Body is responsible for determining the criteria for dispersing the MAP Funds to their membership 

MAP Grant Policy and Procedure

     1. Applicants must be members in good standing of the Saskatchewan Volleyball Association.

     2. Applicants must submit a Spending Plan to the SVA by the set deadline. (March 30th, 2010)

     3. Applicants must submit a Follow Up Report (one for the entire club) with receipts and Team          Expense Summary forms (one for every team in the club) to the SVA by the set deadline.  
         (Jun 1st,2010) Failure to meet both deadlines will result no money being  awarded to your team.

     4. The SVA will approve the amount of money allotted to each applicant according to:
          a) The amount of funding available
          b) The amount of registered teams who apply for funding.   

     5. Conditions of funding: 
          a) Applicants program or event must occur within the Association's fiscal year and increase the           quality and level of participation in volleyball 
          b) All recipients are required to acknowledge the support of the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust           Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation
          c) Applicants must meet scheduled deadlines 

     6. Payment will be sent from the SVA office upon receipt of the properly completed Follow Up          Report including all receipts and it will be sent to the Club Official.

NOTES:

      * Ineligible Expenditures
          a) Any construction, upgrading, maintenance or operating costs of facilities 
          b) Subsidization of full-time employees (part-time or seasonal wages utilized in program           development are eligible) 
          c) Cash prizes
          d) Social events (barbeques, lunch etc.)
          e) Alcoholic beverages
          f) Research projects or feasibility studies 
          g) Any other expenses as deemed ineligible by the SVA or the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust           Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation
