2012 SASK Summer Games
Meadow Lake, July 29 - August 1st, 2012 - indoor volleyball only will be played in the second half. There is no beach at these games.
Athletes: Male 15U born January 1, 1997 or later
Female 14U born January 1, 1998 or later
Teams: Each District Sport, Culture and Recreation Zone will select 10 male and 10 female athletes to represent their zone - one male and one female team per zone.
Coaches: SVA are accepting applications for coaches from each zone until Decemebr 2, 2011 - coaches will be named by the en of December. Head Coach and manager must be Level 1 cerified in volleyball. If the Head Coach of the team is of the opposite gender the manager must be of the same gender as the team. Please submitt your name with a brief coaching resume by December 2nd, 2011 to mentorcoach@saskvolleyball.ca
Athletes: Winter Athlete Selections Camps will be held in each Sport District with selected athletes training in July. Please watch the SVA web site or your District Sport web site for dates, times and locations.

Volleyball Coaching and Manager Positions
The Saskatchewan Volleyball Association is now accepting applications for the above positions from each District. There is one Head Coach and one Manager opportunity available for the male and female team from each District. Each team must have one gender specific coach assigned to the team. Coaches and managers need to be fully Level 1 certified or be fully Level 1 certified by February, 2012. Volleyball will be held from August 1st to 4th, 2012.
A Criminal Record Check is required for all selected coaches and managers.
Applications will be accepted until November 28th. Please send a brief resume stating your coaching and volleyball background, your intentions to be a Head Coach or Assistant/Manager and which gender you are interested in coaching. Coaching selection will take place prior to Christmas. Coaches may start with athlete selection during the winter months with final team selections in place by July 9,2012.
